Whitsons Hosts Brunch for Lunch with American Dairy Association in Commack UFSD, NY

Students in Commack UFSD, NY were treated to Brunch for Lunch and hot or frozen hot chocolates as part of a promotion with the American Dairy Association.


Chef Tony DiStefano joined the Whitsons team at Commack High School to serve French Toast with choices of strawberries, chocolate syrup and chocolate chips toppings and sides of bacon, sausage and tater tots.  


Students also were welcomed by Aisha King from the American Dairy Association to a promotional table, where they were offered the chance to spin a prize wheel and a choice of a hot or frozen hot chocolate for National Hot Chocolate Day.  Prizes included giveaways from the American Dairy Association, future free lunches, and credit to the school store.


Superintendent Dr. Jordan Cox, Associate Superintendent Laura Newman, CHS Principal Carrie Lipenholtz and Vice Principal Matthew Keltos joined Whitsons District Manager Christine Kunnmann, Chef Tony, Rosalie Duffy and the Whitsons team at Commack to help celebrate the day and promote the nutritional importance of dairy to students.  


The Whitsons team at Commack High School continues to shine in the newly renovated cafeteria, offering fun promotions and the usual diverse menu of daily options for the students they serve.
