Marketing and merchandising programs are developed by Whitsons at the corporate level and customized to meet the specific needs of each client. We use a combination of tools to generate excitement about the dining program and communicate to our customers:
Professional Signage Program
Our
elegant Euro-modern merchandising components and signage
allows us to place food in the spotlight, in keeping with Whitsons’ Food First initiative.
Our sign program includes three different tiers of station identifier
options, as well as the flexibility to create custom signage that
complements our clients’ décor. We have a wide variety
of signholders, from countertop to freestanding and wall
mounted, in various shapes and sizes, to meet virtually any need.
Typical signage needs include station identifiers, a la carte
menus, daily menus and promotional signage.
Visual Merchandising
Our visual merchandising program is continuously updated
in keeping with evolving trends in food display techniques. We have
specified a wide selection of equipment and smallwares, including
coordinating pieces for preparation, presentation, displays, sample
plates, impulse items, catering and more. The focus is on incorporating
the fresh ingredients from the day’s menu into the displays
and sample plates, to emphasize our commitment to using wholesome,
high quality, FRESH ingredients in our menu items. Our program
also includes specifications for plate presentation grab and
go item packaging/labeling.
Promotional Programs
Whitsons develops a customized
marketing promotion program for each client, using a variety
of tools provided by our marketing corporate support team. Key components
of the program include a monthly marketing calendar of
suggested menu specials, raffle giveaways, tastings and events,
as well as SPICE, our quarterly marketing program. The SPICE program
includes all materials needed to promote our quarterly themed menu
specials, such as posters, signs, menus and recipes, customer and
client communications and item identifiers.
