Nutritional information contained herein is based on average portion size and is to be used as a general guideline only. Nutritional Information is calculated based on Whitsons' standardized recipes. Many of our products are made from scratch and, therefore, natural variations in ingredients may cause exact nutritional information to vary.
Nutrient values for products such as milk, fruit and vegetables have been averaged based on USDA nutritional standards for these same items. Data is calculated using ESHA Research's Genesis® R&D software and rounded to meet FDA regulations. Because nutritional values can fluctuate from portion to portion, medical dosing based on this information is not recommended. Data for vitamins and minerals refers to percentage of U.S. recommended daily intake values.

Common food allergens (defined by the FDA) are listed herein for each menu item. In addition, Whitsons provides a Right to Know allergy station in each school cafeteria that details the foods on our menus that contain the most common food allergens. Categories include:

Please note that we only list allergens that are actually present as an ingredient in the foods we serve. We do not list manufacturers who may also process allergens such as peanuts and tree nuts in other products they produce. However, we do require all our manufacturers to have Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in place that help ensure the proper HACCP procedures are used to minimize the possibility of inadvertent allergens (accidental allergen contamination from other products) in the manufacturing process.
Caution:
Product specifications are subject to change and manufacturers are not currently required by law to provide updated ingredient declarations to Whitsons. Though we work diligently with our manufacturers to provide the most accurate information possible, there may occasionally be a time delay in obtaining and posting changes to product specifications. Therefore, persons with severe food allergies or dietary concerns should always ask first before consuming a food item from the cafeteria.
