Whitsons School Nutrition serves the dining needs of public and private schools from the elementary level through high school. We provide comprehensive management services—customizing our menus and nutrition education programs to the unique needs of students, faculty, staff and administration at each school. Whitsons also offers consultation and extensive onsite training for schools that operate their own programs.
Whitsons takes a retail approach to educational dining, implementing a food court-style environment using Whitsons’ own branded concepts, with menus and professional merchandising materials designed exclusively for our educational clients. We work hand in hand with each client to develop menus that focus on quality and variety, while also maximizing nutritional value and ensuring adherence to national, state and local health and wellness guidelines. Equally important are Whitsons’ efforts to work with each client to increase program participation through professional marketing and nutrition education campaigns.

dining programs boast menus that are delicious and highly

Our chefs use wholesome ingredients to freshly prepare our food, paying
particular attention to the use of whole grains, fresh fruits
and vegetables, lean meats and healthy snacks.
Whitsons School Nutrition offers a wide range of creative nutrition education programs for all educational levels—including our exclusive Nutrition SafariTM program for elementary school children. This fun and imaginative program features endearing animal characters that help teach children the value of lifelong healthy eating habits. Whitsons’ exclusive Smart ChoicesTM program offers several levels tailored to the increasingly sophisticated palates of secondary school children and young adults.
