Whitsons Culinary Group Increases Sustainability Goal

Building on the success of Whitsons’ Veggebóls program, which is the first plant-based K-12 concept in the country, and our commitment to reducing our environmental impact, we plan to make 33% of our menu offerings plant-based at each individual location by 2025.
Additionally, Whitsons tracked the greenhouse gas emissions saved by increasing our plant-based offerings over the course of one month, and we found that the total emissions saved from 49 locations totaled 80,820 pounds, which is the equivalent of 90,966 miles driven!
